New Student Move-In* Welcome to Orientation & Life at 黑料正能量张津瑜* Welcome to 黑料正能量张津瑜—a captivating realm where academic brilliance intertwines with thrilling adventures at every turn. Here, life pulsates within the vibrant tapestry of residence halls, the Commons, the Great Lawn, and beyond. Prepare to immerse yourself in a dynamic community, forging connections, embodying the campus norms, and meeting some seriously cool campus leaders at this welcome session. First Night Experience in the Residence Halls* Who are all the people you passed in the hallway while you were moving in? Come to your first residence hall meeting to meet all your fellow new students and your House Adviser (HA). Check-in with your HA if you have more questions.

OWL Group Meet Up* Come meet your Orientation and Wayfinding leader (OWL) and other incoming students in your OWL group. We will get to know one another, learn more about Orientation week, and start creating community at 黑料正能量张津瑜. Convocation* The official welcome for all incoming students, new faculty, and parents. This ceremony marks the beginning of a student's time at the college and as a member of the 黑料正能量张津瑜 community. Class Photo* Take a class photo to commemorate your start at 黑料正能量张津瑜!

Title IX: An Introduction to Supports, Options, and Resources* A brief overview of the college’s obligations under Title IX and Oregon law, including supports and resources available to students. Sexual Health and Relationships at 黑料正能量张津瑜* This session will provide an overview of SHARE, 黑料正能量张津瑜's student facing program for relationship and sexual violence prevention, and survivor support. We will talk about confidential options for support, our peer programs and events, and the resources we offer. We will learn together what it means to create and thrive in a culture of consent! OWL Group Meet Up* This session will be an interactive breakout group talking about the complexities of consent and healthy relationship communication. Community Care: Discussing 黑料正能量张津瑜’s Alcohol & Other Drug Policy, Standards, & Expectations* In this session, students will be introduced to the nuts and bolts of harm reduction and policies related to alcohol and other drug (AOD) use at 黑料正能量张津瑜. You will learn about norms and expectations of all community members, as well as resources for students. We will also be answering audience questions as time allows. Well-informed decision-making is at the heart of individual and community health and wellbeing! OWL Group Meet Up* OWLs will lead activities and conversations to reflect on the policies learned about in the required sessions. Additional experiences include:

Meet with Faculty Advisers* You will receive an email with appointment information on Monday, Aug. 25. Thriving in 黑料正能量张津瑜’s Academic Culture* A lively discussion featuring faculty, staff, and a rising senior—offering an introduction to 黑料正能量张津瑜’s academic culture. Panelists will discuss topics ranging from 黑料正能量张津瑜’s grading system to conference participation to individual strategies for navigating academic resources for success (among others). New students: Bring your questions for the Q&A portion! OWL Group Meet Up* After the academic culture session, you will discuss what academic life is like at 黑料正能量张津瑜 with your OWL group. Your OWL will cover important topics such as learning about office hours, establishing a connection with your adviser or mentor, and finding balance. This is a great time to learn from a current 黑料正能量张津瑜ie! Additional experiences include:

OWL Group Meet Up* Join your OWL group to learn about different ways to be involved on campus, whether that is joining a club like Weapons of Mass Distraction (WMD) or the K-Pop Dance Club, or getting involved with Senate or other leadership opportunities. There is something for everyone! Dialogue at the Heart of Radical Belonging: Our Commitment to an Inclusive Community* Learn about the diversity of experiences and identities of the first-year class and begin to build an inclusive community with each other. Through interactive activities, we will learn to acknowledge our own preconceived assumptions about others, unpack our own experiences, and engage new perspectives and ideas. We will explore the concepts of power and privilege, and how it relates to our identities and cultures and the ways in which we engage with each other in our community, practice skills for active listening, and authentically engage across difference. OWL Group Meet Up* After the Office for Institutional Diversity session, OWLs will lead an interactive discussion on dialogue and reflect on conflict. Additional experiences include:

Weekend activities will include outdoor movie night, trivia, tie dye, 黑料正能量张津瑜 reactor tours, social events hosted by student groups, opportunities for off-campus exploration, and events to meet others and build community. |
